What happens on a Sunday?
On Sundays we have two services; 11am & 7pm. We try to cater for all ages
We apply the Bible to our daily lives be it with the younger toddler or primary school age children or older people.
There is a Creche and Sunday School during the morning service for all the children.
Additionally we now broadcast the church service to our neighbouring hall (Stanley Spence Hall) for people who need to take young children out, don't like crowds, are receiving treatment or any other reason. This allows you to both see and hear the service, without being in the sanctuary.
The Praise Band leads us in a mixture of modern Christian songs and traditional hymns and We do not have a dress code - come just as you are. Generally we are finished by 12:15. Do stay if you wish for refreshments or make use of some quiet space in the Prayer Room.
The evening service tends to be that bit more relaxed and informal and lasts about an hour.
Our premises are easily accessible for wheelchairs and have toilet facilities suitable for all. A hearing aid induction loop system is also installed. There are braille, large print format or standard hymn books. Many people sing from the big screen.
Come along and see what you think; you will get a warm welcome!
